Hospital Team Members Rally Together to Support 3D Mobile Mammography Bus Campaign

On June 26th, the spirit of generosity and community was on full display inside our hospital as team members gathered for a Pizza & Ice Cream Social in support of an important cause — raising funds for a 3D Mobile Mammography Bus to serve our region.

The event was a lively {and warm} afternoon filled with food, fellowship, and giveaways, including drawings for a VIP parking spot and a PTO Day for participating team members. More than just a celebration, the social was an opportunity to recognize our incredible Team Member Donors and welcome new supporters into the campaign. In just TWO HOURS, our team members raised over $13,000 — all in support of bringing a 3D Mobile Mammography Bus to our community!

“Our staff is the heart of this hospital,” said Jessica Garcia, Development Officer, SRH Foundation, “and seeing them come together for a cause that directly impacts our community is inspiring. Their generosity helps ensure that lifesaving breast screenings are accessible to women across our area, regardless of where they live or their ability to travel to a medical facility.”

Offsite employees weren’t left out of the festivities, either. They were invited to participate through an online information page and prize drawing, showing that no matter where they work, our team members are united by a shared commitment to bettering community health.
