A Full Day of Giving: Team Members and Community Donors Unite

Tuesday, September 10th, was a day filled with generosity and momentum for the Self Regional Healthcare Foundation. From morning through evening, both our hospital team members and community donors came together in meaningful ways to advance healthcare close to home.

At lunchtime, the Foundation hosted “Cozy for a Cause,” a fall-themed donor appreciation and membership drive for hospital staff. With baked goods and warm drinks setting the atmosphere, the event celebrated the spirit of giving among team members and encouraged others to join in the 1951 Club. The sense of camaraderie and shared purpose made the event a warm success.

That same evening, the momentum carried into the community at Flynn’s on Maxwell, where Foundation leaders and friends gathered for an information social. The gathering inspired new commitments of support for the Foundation’s 3D Mobile Mammography project, a vital initiative to expand access to life-saving screenings for women across our region.

Together, these events highlight the powerful impact of generosity—both inside the walls of Self Regional and across Greenwood and beyond. The Foundation is deeply grateful for every donor, new and returning, whose gifts make advancements in care possible. When team members and community partners unite, they create something extraordinary: a healthier, stronger future for us all.
