1951 Club Members and Recognition
Members of the 1951 Club demonstrate their commitment to better healthcare in Greenwood and the Lakelands region through their generous gifts to the Self Regional Healthcare Foundation. 1951 Club contributions support Self Regional Healthcare’s “Our Vision Is 2020” Campaign. Three vital projects are part of this bold campaign: renovations to the Ambulatory Care Center, renovations to the Childbirth Center and the renovation and expansion of the Emergency Care Center.
Rocking Horse Honor Roll Members and Recognition
Self Regional Healthcare Foundation began its Childbirth Center fundraising in 1994 thanks to a gift from the late Senator Strom Thurmond, whose four children were born at Self Regional Healthcare. The Rocking Horse Honor Roll offers a special way to commemorate the birth of a child. With a gift of $150 or more, newborns are honored with medallions on the wall of our Childbirth Center. Gifts to the Rocking Horse Honor Roll are earmarked for the Nancy Moore Thurmond Memorial Fund, which is dedicated to providing equipment and services for our Childbirth Center.
Doctor’s Day
Over the years, an increasing number of patients have expressed gratitude for the care they’ve received by making a gift in honor of their doctor. National Doctors’ Day, which is celebrated on March 30, provides a perfect opportunity to give a special thanks to physician/ caregiver. The donors listed below made a gift to demonstrate their appreciation while at the same time, making a tangible and meaningful impact on our ability to care for patients 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
Friends of the Foundation
The Self Regional Healthcare team takes pride in their work and try hard to always create the best experience for our patients, their families and their visitors. Over the years, many of these individuals have supported Self Regional Healthcare Foundation by paying tribute to a special caregiver – the physician, nurse, housekeeper, volunteer or other individual who made a difference in their stay or the stay of a friend or loved one at Self Regional Healthcare. These individuals below have made such gifts, and we’re grateful for their generosity.
Memorials and Honors
The Gift of Tribute program, of the Self Regional Healthcare Foundation Annual Support Committee, program remembers those who have had an impact on our lives. Gifts can be in memory of someone who has passed away, or can be in honor someone who is celebrating a birthday, anniversary, graduation or wedding.
Self Regional Healthcare Team Member Donor Recognition
When people in this community learn of the generosity of our Team Members, they are astonished. None of us are surprised and that’s because Self Regional Healthcare Team Members don’t just make a living… they make a difference–in the lives of our patients and their families!
