(GREENWOOD, SC June 22, 2017)- Members of the Self Regional Healthcare Foundation Business and Industry Committee met at Cedar Ridge Plantation in Bradley, SC Wednesday, June 14, to unveil the Corporate Honor Roll, a new recognition program, and to celebrate its members who comprise a network of community minded businesses, whose philanthropic support is an important component to fulfilling Self Regional’s mission.

The Corporate Honor Roll is divided into different giving levels: Member, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum, and the funds donated are earmarked to support mission critical projects at Self Regional Healthcare.

“Participation in the Corporate Honor Roll signifies a pledge of commitment to the community and the desire to assure that employees of companies in our region and area residents have access to excellent healthcare, right here at home,” said Ken Coffey, Executive Director, Self Regional Healthcare Foundation.

Rodney Bruner, committee chair and Foundation Board member, gave opening remarks, followed by an invocation by Phillip Bell, Self Regional Healthcare Foundation, Board of Trustees, and an update on future plans for Self Regional by President and CEO, Jim Pfeiffer.

Mr. Pfeiffer spoke in depth about upcoming renovations to the Ambulatory Care Center, Emergency Care Center and the Self Regional Women’s Center, as well as future critical projects for the Foundation.

“About 18 months ago, the Foundation Board of Trustees embarked on a new j

ourney to grow the Self Regional Healthcare Foundation’s presence in the community and build on the culture of philanthropic support,” said Courtney Furman, Foundation Board chair. “In early march of this year, these leaders unanimously approved supporting these three projects that are vital to the future of healthcare in the community.”

Rodney Bruner took a moment during the program to introduce the members of the Business and Industry Committee and recognized the companies on the Corporate Honor Roll, which include Ascend, CountyBank, Manley Garvin, LLC, Fuji Films, Eaton Corporation and many more. Bruner said, “All of us on the Committee and the Foundation Board of Trustees appreciate all that you do for Self Regional Healthcare and this community.”
