New Board Members and Leadership Appointments

The Self Regional Healthcare Foundation Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the appointment of four new Trustees, the reappointment of seven current members, and the election of officers for the 2026 fiscal year.

The Foundation welcomes Chris Cabri, Patrick Hobson, Dr. Jeff Lanford, and Mike Mallon as new members of the Board of Trustees. These volunteer leaders join their fellow Trustees in advancing the Foundation’s mission to increase charitable support for Self Regional Healthcare and to strengthen healthcare in Greenwood and the greater Lakelands region.

Chris Cabri has lived in Greenwood for 40 years and serves as a Senior Financial Advisor at Wells Fargo Advisors. His deep ties to the community and financial expertise will bring valuable insight to the Foundation. Patrick Hobson, President of Chandler Construction Services, Inc., was born and raised in Greenwood. In addition to his professional leadership, he is an active member of the Foundation’s Business and Industry Committee. Dr. Jeff Lanford is a retired Vascular Surgeon who served at Self Regional Healthcare and previously served on the Foundation’s Board from 2004 to 2010. His experience as both a physician and a previous Trustee strengthens the connection between clinical care and community support. Mike Mallon retired from ExxonMobil after 38.5 years of service and later worked as a consultant for Positive Management Leadership until 2014. His extensive leadership experience and corporate background bring an important perspective to the Foundation’s work.

In addition to these new appointments, the following Trustees were reappointed for another two-year term: Glenda Corley, Peter Bjerke, Hannah Metts, Sharon Mulkey, Steve Riley, Dave Thompson, and Jill Warner.

The Foundation also confirmed its FY26 slate of officers:

Chair: Glenda Corley

Vice Chair: Chuck Rimsky

Treasurer: Laurie Smith

Secretary: Peter Bjerke

The Foundation extends its deepest gratitude to outgoing Trustees Mark Askew, Chris Clem, John Cooper, and Michael Walters for their years of dedicated service, leadership, and passion for improving healthcare in our community. Their contributions have played an integral role in advancing the Foundation’s mission and strengthening the health and well-being of the Lakelands region.

“We are grateful for the continued leadership of our returning Trustees and are excited to welcome our new members to the Board,” said Ken Coffey, Executive Director of the Self Regional Healthcare Foundation. “Each of these individuals brings valuable experience, insight, and passion for healthcare in our community. Together, we look forward to advancing the mission of the Foundation and ensuring access to exceptional care for all who call the Lakelands home.”
