Medically Speaking Series Explores Foot Health

The Self Regional Healthcare Foundation’s Medically Speaking Series continued this fall with Let’s Talk Feet: Answers from Foot and Ankle Surgeons, held at Lander University in partnership with the Greenwood Chamber of Commerce.

The program featured Dr. Steven Andreasen, Dr. Alexander Barnett, and Dr. Kelly Mandile, who shared their expertise on common foot and ankle conditions, treatment options, and prevention strategies. Presented in a relaxed, town hall–style format, the discussion gave community members the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with local physicians.

Following the program, guests enjoyed a reception held by Lander University while connecting with others in the community.

“Events like this bring health education into the community in a way that’s personal and engaging,” said Ken Coffey, Executive Director. “We’re grateful to Lander University and the

Greenwood Chamber of Commerce for partnering with us to make this series possible.”

The Medically Speaking Series is hosted by the Self Regional Healthcare Foundation’s Business and Industry Committee to help promote health awareness and strengthen community partnerships.

The next event in the series will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Lander University.

All Medically Speaking programs are free and open to the public, with a reception following each event.
