The theme for the 30th Annual ball is “Cheers to 30 years – A Simply Elegant Evening.” This highly anticipated event each year includes an evening with dinner, a silent auction and dancing. Two of Greenwood County’s industry leaders in their respective fields, Davis & Floyd and Uldrick Builders, are returning to sponsor the band for the event, the Shimmer Band out of Atlanta.

Rodgers Construction will once again sponsor the table decorations and the Foundation is excited to welcome Wesley Commons as this year’s Silent Auction Sponsor.

As the theme suggests, the evening will be nothing short of elegant to celebrate 30 years of success in bringing advanced healthcare to the Lakelands. Since its inception in 1989, the Mid-Winter Ball has raised nearly $3 million on behalf of Self Regional Healthcare.

“We are very excited about this year’s Midwinter Ball! Aside from celebrating the 30th anniversary of this premier event, we’re especially thrilled to hold the ball at the Greenwood Country Club,” said Ken Coffey, Executive Director of the Foundation. “We’ve received more than a few questions as to how we could host this premier event at the Country Club. We chose to think outside of the box and in doing so; we will have the most amazing tent on what is normally the driving range. This ball room like tent will have state of the art HVAC and will accommodate our guests with dining and dancing to the sounds of the Shimmer Band.”
