Self Regional Healthcare Foundation is pleased to announce Amy Pritchard and Hunter Bell as the honorary chairs for the 31st Annual Mid-Winter Ball. Ms. Pritchard is a member of the Foundation’s Madame Curie Society, and Ms. Bell is a board member of the Self Regional Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees and Co-Chair of the Foundation’s Special Gifts Committee.
The Self Regional Healthcare Foundation recently made a gift to the Nursing Department at Piedmont Technical College (PTC) to further strengthen the region’s nursing workforce. The funds will be used to help support the nursing curriculum at PTC and to address the immediate need for additional faculty to serve students majoring in the college’s nursing programs.
The Self Regional Healthcare Foundation hosted its annual nursing scholarship luncheon in June and awarded 8 scholarships for a combined amount of $8,000. The recipients for the 2018 Mary Ella Ruff scholarships are Kimberly Jessica Albert – of Winnsboro, SC, Cady Margaret Collins – of Greenwood, SC, Brianna Lashae Haddon – of Abbeville, SC, Allison Whitman Sullivan – of Honea Path, SC and Erin Reid Young – of Ninety Six, SC.
Self Regional Healthcare Foundation recently awarded two Piedmont Technical College students scholarships to assist with their to assist with their respiratory therapy studies. First-year respiratory students Kayla Ann Cleveland and Ebony Simone Clark are recipients of the M. John and Drenda Heydel Respiratory Therapy Scholarship and each received $1,000 in scholarship funds.
